A public lecture entitled “Mountains to Move – Male Health Matters" by Dr. Amar Kumar Manandhar is scheduled for 20 May 2026 at 5:00 pm in the First Auditorium of MU–Varna.  Dr. Kumar is a well-established international expert with more than 20 years of experience in the fields of Urological Surgery, Reconstructive Urology, and Applied Science.

Dr. Manandhar is a consultant at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, works at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, and teaches at the University of Birmingham.
His research and clinical activities are focused on Urology, Functional Bladder Disorders, Uro-Oncology, and Bladder Cancer Diagnostics. Among his major professional interests are the improvement of surgical techniques and the development of innovations in Minimally Invasive Urology.

The event is intended for medical students, academic staff, and specialists with an interest in the field of Urology and modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of urological diseases.

The lecture is organised within the framework of Project No. BG-RRP-2.004-0009-C03 “Medical University–Varna: Enhancement of Translational Excellence Achievement in Medicine (MUVE-TEAM)" under item 3.3. International Cooperation in Strategic Areas. ​
