A team from Medical University–Varna took part in the 2nd Ankara Phoniatrics Days, "Meeting with the Masters", which took place from 12-14 December in Ankara, Republic of Turkey. The representatives of Scientific Group 3.2.2 “Obstructive Sleep Apnoea and Comorbidity” under the project No BG-RRP-2.004-0009-C02 “Enhancement of Translational Excellence Achievement in Medicine (MUVE-TEAM)”, funded by the European Union, under the NextGenerationEU programme, participated in the scientific event with an oral presentation on “Voice Screening for Opera Singers”.

 

During the forum, Prof. Dr. Mario Milkov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at Medical University–Varna, invited the President of the Union of the European Phoniatricians Prof. Dr. Haldun Oguz to deliver a lecture in 2025 at Medical University–Varna, which was accepted with pleasure. 

 

Within the framework of the Congress, Prof. Milkov held a discussion with His Excellency Mr. Angel Cholakov – Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Turkey, who expressed his desire for development of the cooperation between Medical University–Varna and universities in Turkey, as well as with various state-of-the-art companies. The Ambassador has accepted the invitation to deliver a lecture at MU–Varna.
