From 25th to 28th May 2024, the team of a scientific group, headed by Prof. Karl Hörmann, participated at the 29th Rhino Camp Meeting in Turkey. Prof. Karl Hörmann is the President of the European Academy of Sleep Medicine, former President of the German Society of Otorhinolaryngology and the German Academy of Sciences, former Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Chairperson of the Sleep Centre at Mannheim University Hospital (Germany).

There were three presentations related to Obstructive Sleep Apnoea. The team members participated in roundtable discussions, getting acquainted with state-of-the art scientific advances and diagnostic methods in the field of OSA. Future participation, projects, publications and collaborations with established physicians in the field of OSA and Sleep Medicine were discussed. The Conference was attended by prominent scientists in the field from various countries.

The visit took place under project BG-RRP-2.004-0009-C02 Enhancement of Translational Excellence Achievement in Medicine (MUVE-TEAM), funded by the European Union–NextGenerationEU. All participants in the working group are members of Scientific Group 3.2.2 "Obstructive Sleep Apnoea and Comorbidity".
